We are always seeking highly motivated and qualified students and postdocs to join our research group.
Students who want to pursue a PhD in our group can apply through the IMPRS program.
For postdoc positions, while experience in in vivo electrophysiology or relevant fields is desirable, we are also looking for theoretically-oriented candidates who have strong background in quantitative analysis (e.g. physicist, mathematician or engineer) and are interested in working on complex data sets, such as the activity of hundreds of neurons across multiple brain areas. Successful candidates should have good programming skills in MATLAB, C or Python. If you are interested in a position, please submit a CV along with 3 references to Hiroshi Ito.
