Missing Pictures - Bringing Women in Science to Light
On October 10th, Berlin-based photographer and science communicator Gesine Born will present her latest project, "Missing Pictures," at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research. Using artificial intelligence, she has created portraits of prominent but often visually underrepresented female scientists such as Rosalind Franklin, Lise Meitner, and Cécile Vogt, the founder of our predecessor institute, to retrospectively honor their remarkable achievements. The lecture will be in English. Registration required.
