Campus Niederrad

From Frankfurt Central Station

You can take a direct tram from Frankfurt am Main central station (Hauptbahnhof) to the institute. Tram stops are located directly opposite the main entrance of the train station. Leave at the fifth stop "Heinrich-Hoffmann-Straße/Blutspendedienst" of tram 21 (direction: "Stadion"). The institute is located opposite this stop across the street. From Frankfurt Airport

From Frankfurt Airport please take the "S-Bahn" (marked by a green S in a white circle). Any S-Bahn travelling from Frankfurt Airport via Hauptbahnhof is fine. Leave the S-Bahn at the stop "Niederrad" and change to tram 12 heading for "Fechenheim / Hugo-Junkers-Strasse". Get off at "Heinrich-Hoffmann-Straße/Blutspendedienst". Please note that the airport Frankfurt-Hahn is located almost 120 km from the Niederrad Campus and that transport takes a considerable time investment (at least 90 minutes) as the only way of transport available are bus and taxi. Visitors to the Niederrad Campus are recommended to only book flights to Frankfurt Airport.

Directly by car

The institute is close to the motorway A5 which connects motorway A3 at the "Frankfurt Kreuz". From the "Frankfurter Kreuz" drive in direction Kassel (A5) and take the next exit "Frankfurt/Niederrad Bürostadt". Follow the sign "Universitätsklinikum". The road (Mainuferstrasse) goes along the river Main on your left hand side. After 3,5 km from the motorway exit turn right (Deutschordenstrasse). The institute is located directly at the crossing on the right. If you are travelling at the motorway A5 from the direction Kassel please take the exit "Westhafen" and follow the sign "Universitätsklinikum". Directly after crossing the river Main (Friedensbrücke) turn right and follow the road along the river Main. The institute is the highest buildings located on the corner, at a T-intersection (Deutschordenstrasse), where the streetcar turns left.
