Open Positions Gjorgjieva Department

We are looking for postdocs to work on theoretical approaches to understand neural circuit development, learning and plasticity, as well as neural circuit dynamics. Interested candidates should submit the following by email:

• a motivation letter/research statement
• a sample of written work or code 
• the names of 2-3 references

We will also consider highly motivated and qualified students (PhD and Master) interested to join our group. They can choose from a range of projects including data analysis, theoretical model development and analytical calculations, numerical simulations, and applications to novel datasets from collaborating labs. In that case, please also submit a transcript with grades highlighting any theoretical training. All applicants should have a strong quantitative background (in mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, or related fields) and good programming skills (Matlab, C/C++ or Python).
