2015 Girls' Day great success!
On April 23, eighteen students from the Rhine-Main visited the Max Planck Institute for Brian Research. After a short introduction, including instruction of the safety regulations, they could do real experiments in our Teaching Lab. After more than two hours of work, Amparo Acker-Palmer gave an inspiring talk about her career choices and research, which was followed by a fruitful discussion. During lunch at the Minerva Bistro, the students could discuss with some of the scientists. We are looking forward to having such an enthusiastic group of students next year!
