Research Interest

I am interested in how synaptic organization and circuit architecture shape neuronal computation. In my current research internship, I work with connectomic data in zebrafish to investigate how the structural wiring of the brain supports information processing and drives behavior.

During my undergraduate research, I have gained diverse laboratory experience across plant genetics, cancer biology and autophagy, and most recently, development and regeneration. My previous work centered on understanding the nervous system in health and disease, with a focus on neurodegenerative mechanisms, neuroprotection, and regenerative signaling in zebrafish models of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease.

Looking ahead, I am eager to advance in brain research and explore fundamental questions in neuroscience.
