Research Interest
I am interested in understanding the brain as a computational machine at the level of neural circuits, and how their structure and dynamics interact to give rise to behavior. During my time at Harvard, I studied the structural organization of neural circuits in the larval zebrafish brain, with a particular focus on their relationship to persistent neural activity during visual evidence accumulation. My research combines connectomics, behavioral experiments, and computational modeling to investigate how circuit and architecture constrain and shape the emergent neural dynamics. I aim to understand the fundamental principles through which neural circuits implement computations that transform sensory information into decisions and behavior.
