100 years of MPI for Brain Research: “minds in motion”

May 14, 2014

This year, the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research (including its predecessor Kaiser Wilhelm Institute) marks its 100 years anniversary. Our institute organised several activities to celebrate this landmark.

We are happy to present our exhibition "minds in motion", which will introduce various themes from our rich Institute´s history, as well as women in science and society, Frankfurt neuroscience around 100 years, and multimedia. The exhibition is located in the public space of the Institute and is self-guided. It is however recommended that groups larger than eight persons send a request for a guided tour via email.

You can visit the exhibition as of Monday June 2, 2014. For further reading, we will issue an anniversary book, which will be available both in German and English at the Institute´s reception for 15 Euro each, also as of beginning of June.
In addition, we organised a two-day scientific symposium ("circuits in neuroscience") end of September.
